This time while we were in Mumbai, we visited the iconic to Haji Ali! I have always admired this floating sacred mirage off the coast but never had a chance to see it up close until this trip 😍🎉
Haji Ali, the Indo-Islamic shrine located on an offshore inlet is a striking sight. 🙏🏻 Built in the 19th century, it contains the tomb of the Muslim saint Pir Haji Ali Shah Bukhari. It is visited by thousands of pilgrims of all faiths every day to seek blessings, listen to some qawwali, admire the marble architecture and for a change of pace from the city life! 😀 🏛
