Our next stop in Parque Tierra Del Fuego was the stunning bluish-green Lago Roca! ๐Ÿž๐Ÿ›ถ
Completely surrounded by the Guanaco and Piramides Mountain Ranges, both sub ranges of the Andes, Lago Roca is protected by Argentinaโ€™s Tierra Del Fuego National Park. ๐ŸŒฒ๐ŸŒฒ๐ŸŒฒ Lago Roca, is of glacier origin — it is the result of a natural embalming of the river Lapataia , product of a glacial moraine. The westernmost portion of the Lake crosses the international border into Chile, where the lake is known as Lago Errazuriz. Prior to being renamed Lago Roca and Errazuriz (depending on which side of the border you visit), the lake was known as Lago Acigami, the yagan native name.
After spending the afternoon at the lake, taking in all the calmness and tranquility that it offered, we headed towards our last stop in Parque Tierra Del Fuego! ๐Ÿ•Š
