Bucket list: US Open!

Yesterday evening we went for the day 4 of US Open, a long overdue bucket list item – well almost 7 years – ever since I moved to NYC! And the entire evening was astounding 🙂 We got to see the queen aka Serena Williams play at the Arthur Ashe stadium, one of the largest tennis – specific stadium in the world by capacity, saw some top seed players like Juan Martin del Potro live in action, watched the ace king Ivo Karlovic serve Donald Young off the court and Zimonjic apply some amazing strategy to win the mixed doubles. Everything at the grounds appeared to much larger/different than what we have been watching on our screens for so many years – it all appeared so easy to me till I actually saw it happen! As Serena Williams once said ““I really think a champion is defined not by their wins but by how they can recover when they fall.”
